Camera installed but getting no signal? Not sure if it's the device or a bad cable run?
The IPC-5100 Plus is a security installer's essential field tool — camera testing, network diagnostics, and troubleshooting in one device, so you don't have to run back to the van for another gadget. It's the entry point into WANLUTECH's IPC-5000 series, covering the core testing most installers need day to day.
WANLUTECH has been manufacturing CCTV testers and OTDRs for over 10 years, and is the OEM factory behind many other CCTV tester brands on the market today.
What this tester does for you
✅ Test every camera type on the job, one device
Supports IP cameras up to 8K 32MP, plus TVI, CVI, AHD, and CVBS analog signals. Whatever protocol or brand is on site, this one tester covers it — no swapping tools between jobs.
✅ Batch setup for Hikvision & Dahua cameras
Built-in HIK/DH test tools let you activate cameras and change IP addresses or passwords in bulk, instead of configuring each one by hand.
✅ Verify cable runs before you leave the job
Built-in UTP cable tester and RJ45 TDR testing check cable pair status, length, attenuation, reflectivity, and impedance — so you catch a bad run on the spot instead of getting a callback later.
✅ 5.4" touchscreen, all-day battery life
A 3350mAh battery keeps you working through a full shift. Built-in WiFi displays wireless camera feeds, or creates a hotspot so you can view test results straight from your phone.
Which model do you need?
This is the entry model — full camera testing without SDI support or the digital cable tracer. If you need to physically trace cables out of a cluttered bundle, step up to the IPC-5100C Plus. If your jobs involve SDI cameras, check out the IPC-5200 Plus / IPC-5200C Plus.
